The inspiration for Goppert's series "The Four Seasons" came from driving through Paris, mostly very early in the morning to catch the soft light and atmosphere of dawn in the city.
" The winter photographs were helped by unusually heavy snow in the French capital - a rare occurrence. Conversely, the summer shot was hampered by unseasonably bad weather and lots of rain."

Gotz Goppert lives and works in Paris. He is now working on panoramic projects - both personal and commissioned - all over the world. The Four Seasons is currently on view at the Maison Europeene de la Photographie (MEP) in Paris.
