Maleonn's Mobile Studio; When Poetry meets Fantasy

Back from his trek in 55 cities through the entire China, Chinese artist Maleonn presents for the very first time the photos of his Mobile Studio series in Magda Danysz gallery. The exhibition draw together hundred of pictures that were taken from city to city, including Suzhou, Chanzhou, Nanjing, Tianjing etc.... The overall trip took more than one year, between 2011 and 2012.

Maleonn has been traveling in a truck converted into a photography studio. He created a set for his Mobile Studio series, and painted landscapes as background. Maleonn's works represent the artist's anticipation to catch the essence of memories and desires in each of his models. One can find in this project all the codes of the artist's fantastical universe, colorful yet tinged with irony. The childhood, the kingship and romance are at the center are at the center of the Mobile Studio's photographs. With few resources, the famous artist managed to create a unique atmosphere.
