Tcherassi Hotel, a jewel in Cartagena, Columbia

After an extensive restoration, a 250-year-old colonial mansion comes to life in the heart of Cartagena's old city. Entirely renovated by Columbian-born fashion designer Sylvia Tcherassi, the Tcherassi's boutique-hotel features seven rooms and suites, an holistic spa with treatments like chocolate therapy and bamboo massages, a roof deck with magnificent views of both the historic city and the sea. Minimal and modern, all the guest rooms come with 14-foot wood-beamed ceilings and are named after elegant fabrics used in Tcherassi's fashion collections; voilee, ziberline, organdie, mousseline, peau de soie, radzimir and gazar.

The Museum of Bags and Purses

A temple to the tote, Amsterdam's Museum of Bags and Purses is the largest museum of bags in the world. The museum contains an extensive collection - a collection of 4,000 bags, pouches, cases and accessories that illustrates the history of women's purses in Western culture. The collection is very diverse, it ranges from the 17th century pouches to bags from the 20th and 21st century of famous designers such as Schiaparelli, Hermes, Chanel, Dolce Gabbana, Lulu Guinness and more. The Tassen Museum Hendrikje is housed in the former home of Pieter de Graeff - one of the richest individuals of the Dutch Golden Age (17th century) - who embellished the building with ornate paintings and decorative finishes by artists and artisans.
" A woman's mind is as complex as the contents of her handbag.... there is always something at the bottom to surprise you." Comedian Billy Connoly

Viktor Wynd's Little Shop of Horrors

If you are looking for the weirdest thing to buy, The Last Tuesday Society is the shop for you.... Located in London, the store is the most bizarre place. There, you can buy stuffed bats, human skulls,  butterflies collection, an elephant foot and much more....   The owner, Viktor Wynd, is continuously  searching for new and odd pieces for his shop: plant, grass, animal remains in the forrest, pebbles on the beach, minerals.

" The shop is supposed to be a recreation of a Wunderkammer; a cabinet of wonders like Peter the Great or Rudolph II had. So you have the alligator on the ceiling and all the strange wonders of like,"says Viktor Wynd.
